3.1.2. Removal of air from coupling knot

Work process
After works on the hydraulic drive of coupling it is necessary to carry out pumping.
Before pumping extend a pedal of coupling and fill a tank with brake fluid to a mark "max ".
Hit of brake fluid on the transmission is not allowed. If necessary clear the transmission case.
Before turning on of the device for pumping – open the union for pumping.
For filling and pumping of the brake system connect the device to a tank with brake fluid, but do not include.

Weaken fastenings (in the presence) 1 and 2 and remove a noise isolation In behind (fig. 3.1).

Dismantle the heat-shielding screen of a power shaft (fig. 3.2) at the left.

Attach an air hose And to the working cylinder and open the air valve (fig. 3.3).
Connect an air hose to a pressure head hose of the combined tank.
Now turn on the device for pumping and merge about 100 cm3 of brake fluid.
Working excessive pressure: 2,5 bars.

NOTE
When pumping you monitor the provision of an air hose.

Close the air valve (4,5 N · м).
After pumping several times press through a coupling pedal.
If necessary repeat pumping.
Remove an air hose and put a protective cap.
Disconnect the device for filling and pumping of the brake system from a tank with brake fluid.

To install the heat-shielding screen of a power shaft at the left.

Establish back thermal insulation (in the presence).

Inhaling moments
The heat-shielding screen of fastening of the drive to the transmission: 23 N · m.
