4.1.19. Elimination of side withdrawal

Check conditions to and during a trial trip
Check all elements of a suspension bracket of a forward and back axis for existence of damages.
Check and if necessary modify air pressure in tires.
Check tires for existence of outer defects. Punctures, cuts, swellings on sidewalls, local wear because of braking with the blocked wheels and/or damages of a protector.
Find out whether the puncture, for example, a nail or similar damages was in the tire and whether repair at the dealer of tires was made. In the presence of such tires they should be replaced.
Check uniformity of wear and depth of a protector of all tires.
Establish whether all tires of one type, models also have the identical drawing of a protector.
At tires with not directed drawing of a protector check that all designations DOT was outside. Perhaps, on the car replacement of tires or wheels was already made earlier.
It is about types of the tires allowed by the plant for a complete set manufacturer.
For a trial trip use equal, a straight line, not the inclined road without rutting.
Execute a trial trip, considering the called conditions are higher and higher.

At the time of a trial trip there should not be a strong side wind.

Before works it is necessary to study the following instructions, otherwise labor costs can be vain.

Before the first shift mark tires/disks, for example, of PL, software, ZL, ZP.

After shift of wheels or change of the direction of the tire on a disk it is necessary to track behavior of the car at a trial trip. Mark what tires and/or disks perestanavlivatsya.
At the same time it is necessary to define intensity or change of side withdrawal.
At the same time trial trips have to be carried out surely by one master and on the same section of the road. It is better to pass "the test site" in both parties.
Replacement of the tire by new does not provide elimination of side withdrawal. Therefore it is recommended to rearrange at first purposefully wheels as it is described below.
At a big difference in the depth of a protector of tires on forward and back axes, tires with a bigger depth of a protector should be mounted always on a forward axis.
